My husband and I design and craft every item we sell from our workshop. This functional, original woodland design, heavy iron gate, with our plasma cut metal ornamentation, features all steel, hand bent vines, leaves, moon and star, a center wreath, 2 birds, a butterfly and a dragonfly. This single gate frame is made of 1” steel and comes with a heavy steel latch (with 3/8" drilled hole for your optional padlock), which bolts into a pre-drilled frame with included heavy welded hinges ready to mount to your posts. Measures 4 feet tall (48”) x 3 feet wide (36”) plus a 2” allowance for the hinges and latch, (The hinge bolts can be adjusted for width, up to one inch.) Your opening needs to be at least 38" wide. Posts on a 48” center height gate, should be minimum of 40” tall installed frost depth in concrete. Comes in black, dark bronze metallic or an aged dark copper or natural rust with clear, all sprayed with several coats. This heavy, artful gate should last for many years! Choose with or without the scrolls, which are the curved half moon elements between each spindle, under the upper horizontal bar. We build larger sized gates.
